What We Offer
Get paid faster. We do not wait until the article is published to pay. If we accept your article for publication, we pay you upon acceptance, typically within 1 business day of the decision. And before you ask, if we choose later not to publish your article, you do not forfeit your pay. If we do not publish your article to within 1 calendar year, we forfeit the right to publish and you are free to submit it to other outlets as an original work.
Incentives: We offer a few bonus incentives to outstanding writers. Current bonuses include:
- Repeat Writers: The more you write for Host Magi, the more we will pay you. For every 15 articles you submit and we accept for publication, we will add a $100 bonus.
- Youth Writers: We want to encourage young people to write articles for us too! Articles by authors under 18 years old will earn a $25 bonus per 1500 words.
- Weekly Column: Want to write a weekly column for our blog? After 26 consecutive weeks, we will begin to pay you a weekly bonus of $100 each week you submit your post on time.
We value your expertise and time. Every approved writer gets a By-line and a short author bio to be included at the bottom of every article. We will never take credit for your work.
We also want to keep things simple. We pay a flat rate for articles based on the length of the article and if there are images included in your submissions. Articles without images are priced as per the table below. Article with image are $5 per image, up to 2 images per 1000 words. THESE PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

As a writer for Hostmagi.com, you have two payment options:
Venmo Payment: Receive direct compensation for your articles via Venmo. Paid within 1 business day of content approval.
Blog Exchange: If you have a relevant blog, you can write an article for us in exchange for an article written by Host Magi for your blog. This is a great opportunity to cross-promote and expand your reach.
After we publish any article on our blog, you may submit it for re-publication to other outlets. However, you must clearly state “Originally Published On hostmagi.com” and link to the article on our blog.
AI Content Policy
All submitted content will be scanned to determine if AI was used in its creation, and estimate how much it relies on AI. We will consider content that was generated with AI under a few specific conditions.
1. You must declare that AI was used
2. The AI content must be human edited and must be altered by at least 25%.
3. You must provide the original AI document as well as your revised edition
4. You must provide details containing what AI engine(s) you used as well as date and time it was generated.
5. AI content is accepted on a very limited basis. The more you edit your AI generated content, the more likely we will be to publish it.
AI Content will be paid a reduced rate, based on how heavily the final content relies on AI.
In the end, our main concern is with the quality and relevance of the content you submit. We know that when used correctly and responsibly, AI can generate very high-quality content that our readers enjoy. But the human touch is essential to achieving this high quality standard.
